Assalamualaikum Dear Brothers/Sisters in Islam,
Alhamdulillah, the shadow of our parents is till on us and we are blessed people in this world, also we have our children whom we take care and is also a blessing from Allah swt. We love our children more than anyone else and we care for them everything from Food, Clothes, Toys, School, Playing Games, Chocolates etc. But there are few children who do not get these things and they miss it being in this world. We cannot imagine the life of a child without parents or father. For the hardships they go through is a fact that why our beloved Prophet saws have chosen them among the noblest. There are numerous Hadiths on helping or caring for Orphans which is Sunnah of Prophet saws.
Apart from caring for these Orphans, it is also necessary to keep them believer since such children either stay at Orphanage managed by others or will get involved in wrong things. Alhamdulillah, with all your contributions, our Orphanage is under its last phase of construction. We require your immediate help for Second Floor work (Plastering/Flooring) and than Electrical (Fans/Light Bulbs/Sockets/Wiring) /Plumbing/Color/Windows/Doors for the Ground, First Floor and Second Floor. We also require Tables, Chairs, Benches and Beds. All these are require for these Orphans, that means each of your contributions will be towards caring for these orphans. Our Aim is to give them all kinds of support and care, this include making them going to school as well apart from providing them a Home. Each day children face impossible struggles, whether it’s through wars, disasters, drought or disease and all too often children are being orphaned around the world.
The beginnings
Back in 1986 was when we set our first project to help an orphan, and twenty-nine years later we have supported approximately 100,000 orphans across twenty-four countries – Alhamdulillah
How your money is spent
Our orphan sponsorship is a little different from the rest – we focus on helping the entire family who are raising the child, ensuring that we provide a normal and manageable life to everyone in the household.
Eighty percent of your donation is given as cash and the rest goes towards providing general wellbeing for the child, health checks and ensuring that children are staying in education.
Our ethos
We pride ourselves on transparency and we ensure that your money goes towards the project you intended – we know that we are accountable to you, our beneficiaries and ultimately Allah (swt).
We’ve learnt that the act of giving ongoing charity such as helping an orphan, is filled with goodness from Allah (swt) in this life and the next.

The words of Hadith: The Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) said, “whoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah swt will remove from him/her from one of the grieves of the Day of Judgment. And whosoever alleviates a condition of a needy person, Allah swt will alleviate his condition and his needs in this world and the next. Whosoever shields a Muslim, Allah swt will shield him in this world and in the next and Allah swt will aid servant of HIS so long HIS servant aids his brother......Hadith - Imam Nawawi.
This is an urgent appeal for the Mohammed Shareef age 52 years who works as a Tyre Group Mechanic & recently met with a severe accident by a car which badly hit on head and upper part of the body. This caused Brain injuries (Subdural Haemorrhage SDH, Haemorrhage, Haemorrhagic Contusion etc) including fracture on Head and multiple fractures on left Shoulder. Currently he is in ICU at Premier Hospital, Trauma Emergency & Critical Care Center, Nanal Nagar, Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad, undergoing treatment by Neurosurgeon & Orthopedic Surgeon. The Reports and Hospital Letters are attached with this letter for your reference. Since it is a Brain injury, the treatment is bit expensive and required immediate funds.
About the Family: Patient Mohammed Shareef is a Tyre group mechanic earn INR 6000/Month and is the only bread winner in the family, has FIVE Daughters, TWO married & THREE going to college, and ONE school going Son. The Education of the children is being supported by the close relatives. He is a very Hardworking person but this accident have made the whole family suffering from this hard times. The relatives are not financially strong to help the patient for the treatment. Helping patient is like helping the whole family and is a great sawab e jaria.
In this regard, we request your kind help to cover the treatment expenses. Please help these people in need, the innocent children are helpless to support their father and they don't have any option to support them. You can give Charity/Zakat/Bank Interest to support this cause.
The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity (Tirmidhi)

Remember that Orphan means Yateem and it means precious. Orphans are precious children to our Ummah by helping whom we can reach Jannah, Inshallah. The majority of the people helps are poor villagers who live in primitive dwellings such as mud huts without electricity. For such people, having a few animals could be a very good way of sustaining themselves for their own personal food as well as for profit and trade.
Goats are given to the poor in rural areas for milk and goat farming. It costs $250 for a pair of goats for a family to get started.

In today's materialistic society, charity is often seen as low priority.
However the reality is that the community we live in has a huge influence on us personally – it fosters safety, responsibility and sustainability – so it is important that we take our community seriously for the greater good of humanity and for our own personal benefit.
Most importantly though, you'll gain an appreciation for what REALLY matters – and it's not fame or fortune!
After-all, there are many high-profiled people who are great believers in charity and the planet. Bill Gates donates millions of dollars to charities, Bob Geldoff and U2's Bono are great crusaders against world poverty, and many other celebrities offer money and their time to a variety of causes.
Yes, these people have the money to give and their image has done pretty well out of their endeavours – but at the heart of their generosity is the genuine desire to make a difference. And they do.
But, you don't need lots of money or fame to contribute to the community – we all can.
It is my honest belief that we should all help those less fortunate than ourselves – and trust me, if you have the resources to be able to read this article on-line, then there are lots of people out there who are less fortunate!
Whether this help is financial through appropriate donations or through donating your time as a volunteerdoesn't really matter, but we should all feel some social responsibility to do something.
Everyone can do something. YOU can do something. If you don't have the time, DONATE. If you can't afford to donate money, VOLUNTEER and offer your time or services.
Making Donations
As a general guide, aim to donate 10% of your income to charity. You may have heard the phrase, "Charity starts at home" – so make sure your budget can afford it!
Some things to keep in mind when choosing a charity:- Pick a cause that you believe in the most – all charities are worthwhile, but which ones are YOU passionate about?
- Look around your, there are thousands of poor people desrve to be helped out, there are so many families which are not having food, money for education, warm clothes, fan for cooling, shelter to stay, basic comodities. Go help them, help them on weekly, monthly basis. Consider the ways they can get their jobs back so that they are not depenedant on anyone anymore Work on the preventive actions to reduce poverty and poorness.
- Payment terms – do they have a 'subscription' donation system where you're set up to make regular donations? Do they have a minimum donation acceptable? Do they accept all payment options? Do they provide a written receipt (they should!)? An of course, is this all acceptable to your finances.
- Can you claim donations for this particular charity as a Tax Deduction? What are the particular tax laws in your country?
- What does the charity do with the money – are you concerned that too much of the money is spent on administration fees and staff costs?
- Of the charities you've investigated, which one gives the biggest 'Bang for your buck'?
And of course, encourage your children to give some of their money to charity too - little kids love putting money in donation boxes, and you may be surprised how well older children understand the concept of giving to charity

We intend to distribute more fruit trees to the farmers this year in February. Any one interested in this program can contribute as much, he/she desires. Each fruit tree on the average will cost Rs. 80. It will include its cost, transportation and distribution/plantation. We give Apricot (Khubani), Plumb (Alu Bokhara), Peach (Aaru) Lemon, Guava (Amrud), Pomegrate (Anar) and Anjir (Fig –Japanese Fruit).
In March, 2014, we distributed 1750 fruit trees among farmers of 13 villages in Chinjah & Kohala. We grafted 500 wild olive trees in village Chinjah in the same period. 300 more trees were distributed in March in village Dubran in 2014.
In 2013 we had distributed 1500 fruit trees among the farmers of 9 villages. Total no of olive trees grafted so far has reached 3000.

Woman by Nature, in collaboration with Ummaland, invite you to support this scholarship to help sisters who are struggling with stress, trauma, self-neglect, serious illness, and low self-worth, to reclaim their lives, by the permission of Allah.
Every day, millions of Muslim sisters around the world struggle with stress and overwhelm - including stress induced illness, low self-esteem and lack of direction, a lack of self-care and self-love. Most importantly, many are experiencing doubt, confusion and depression, which directly impacts their ability and motivation to properly worship Allah.
Women are wonderfully resilient, MashaAllah and very often no one will know the challenges they are struggling with. Sisters will often keep moving, keep serving and continue helping others - when in reality they are falling apart inside.
For many, fear of recrimination, not wanting to seem weak or unappreciative, or have someone call into question their Iman keeps them quiet. They are heroically self-less in doing for others, yet take little to no time to take care of themselves.
So they continue to suffer in silence.

In this program, Sister Khadija Abdus Sabur of womanbynature.com has harnessed her more than 15 years of experience in health and wellness to create an innovative and effective program for self- discovery & and self-recovery.
This proven program has assisted numerous women to regain a sense of self-worth, and understand that it is not "selfish" to attend to their needs, emotional health, and physical well-being. And it is often only when these things are in place, that a sister can fully fulfill her obligations to her Lord then her family in the best manner.
Because of the nature of their struggles, may of the sisters who desperately need this course, do not have the financial means to attend. This is why, in collaboration with Ummaland, we are raising funds to allow unlimited access to the program and materials, to sisters in need.

Many cities with dense populations lack adequate fresh water because municipalities which should be supplying them are failing due to decaying infrastructure and rising population. For such instances,we have started delivering water to the masses free-of-charge via water tankers which are filled with fresh water.
It costs just 10000 PKR(100$) FOR 5 round for a 1,200 gallon tanker to give water to hundreds of people.

The attack on the French satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo, has reintroduced the much-debated discussion around the limitations, or rather the unrestricted boundaries of the press in criticising and satirising religion, namely Islam.
Such issues, if not addressed, often leave feelings of animosity and resentment towards Muslims due to a lack of understanding and interaction. In light of this, it is imperative for Muslims to have a nuanced discussion around the concept of freedom of speech and the ‘right to offend’.
iERA have partnered up with advocacy group CAGE to launch a new campaign entitled 'Don't Hate, Debate!'. It is aimed at creating a platform for people of all faiths and none to engage in positive dialogue, without resorting to insults. This campaign aims to highlight the importance of tackling hatred in our society and encourage people to ‘debate our differences’ rather than ‘hate our differences’.
Please donate towards this campaign which aims to protect the honour of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ from grotesque insults, and to educate the wider non-Muslim community about Islam.
The printing and logistical costs of this campaign will total up to £4,880.

In order to achieve social progression and community cohesion, it is pivotal that different groups within our society are able to discuss their differences without abusing or transgressing the boundaries of free speech, which inevitably leads to animosity.
1. Public Debate
As part of the campaign, a public event is being held on Friday 13th Feb 2015 at Queen Mary University. It will be a cross-panel discussion with British writers, journalists and prominent Muslim speakers on the topics of free speech and the right to offend.
Please book your seat to avoid disappointment.
2. Printing Booklets
Additionally, we have printed 5,000 booklets on the concept of freedom of speech and the Islamic perspective.
3. Helping Dawah Teams around the country
In addition to the booklets, we are printing initiation cards with a Quranic ayah to distribute freely to the public, along with t-shirts for dawah teams around the UK. This will help them in rolling out the campaign nationally and engage the public in discussing this topic and Islam.
4. Public and Media Awareness
We are carrying out initiatives to help educate the public and media on the issue. We have already written articles on the subject, Check out our latest documentary here:
iERA intends to take the ‘Don’t Hate, Debate!’ campaign national and is collaborating with other British Muslim organisations to relay a positive and holistic message of Islam.
